Leicestershire & Rutland 2nd Team v Warwickshire 2nd Team
Played at Moor Hall, Sutton Coldfield, on Monday 30th June
Despite a long journey for some, all arrived safely and on time and what a reward.
Moor Hall is a beautiful course and was in excellent condition with sunny weather to make it a perfect golf experience. Some of the holes were challenging and the greens were immaculate. Warwickshire made us very welcome and we enjoyed great company and close matches followed by a meal of Caesar salad and lemon swirl cheesecake or fruit salad.
The result was 4 wins to Warwickshire. 2 wins to Leicestershire and 2 matches halved.
