Leicestershire & Rutland 3rd Team v Northamptonshire 3rd Team
The match was played at Kibworth Golf Club on Wednesday 11th June. Despite a very threatening black cloud at the start, the day turned out to be dry and very warm towards the end. The course was in excellent condition and the greens fast and challenging. Kibworth were superb hosts and we enjoyed a lovely meal together.
All the ladies from both teams said they had had most enjoyable games. Unfortunately the result didn’t go our way and we lost the match 2 ½ - 5 ½.
