3rd Team with Past Captains AM/AM 

What weather we are having, yet another scorcher at Kirby Muxloe Golf Club.

There were 16 different clubs from Leicestershire and Rutland participating in this extremely popular fixture.  Many of them being both Vets and Past Captains, fortunately this year we had no ladies who accidentally put their names down to play on both teams!  It was a pleasure to welcome the Past Captains and their President Helen Buckingham and of course our lady Vets.

This fixture is played as an AM/AM with one Vet and one Past Captain to score on each hole.  I had to step in as a Past Captain as unfortunately one of Helen’s team had injured herself and could not play.

It was the turn of the Vets Captain to organise the fixture this year and I bought Hand & Body lotion for 1st prize and Shower gel for 2nd prize.

1st prize:  Sue Randle (Ullesthorpe) Pamela Webb (Kilworth Springs) - L&RVLGA

           Kathy Jex (Lingdale) Wendy Miller (Rushcliffe)  Past Captains                   -   80 points

An excellent end to the day and such a pleasure to meet many more lovely L&R ladies.

Also a very belated Happy Wedding Anniversary to Helen….who was celebrating ?? years today.
