3rdTeam fixture with L&R Past Lady Captains at Market Harborough Golf Club
16 different clubs from Leicestershire and Rutland were represented in this very enjoyable fixture. Many of those taking part were members of both the Vets and the Past Lady Captains so had had to choose which Association to represent on the day.
The fixture is played as an AM/AM with one Vet and one Past Lady Captain to score on each hole. The Market Harborough course was in excellent condition and all of the ladies thoroughly enjoyed playing the course.
It was the turn of the Past Lady Captains to organise the fixture this year and their President,
Glenda Yeldham, presented prizes of chocolates to the team in second position and bottles of wine to the winning team:

A warm sunny day, in excellent company, was finished off by a lovely meal of Fish Pie or Vegetarian Wellington with a Lime Posset for desert.
