What a fabulous day for playing golf, sunshine all day and a pleasant light breeze. After a long wet winter it was such a good day to play golf. Kibworth were our host for the day, the course was in lovely condition, and were excellent hosts. Thank you to the starter,office staff, greens staff and catering for their support to make it a successful day. As usual the committee provided invaluable support through the day, so a big thankyou to all those who help on the day. 

There were 88 entries for the day, and 84 ladies played. The scoring for the day proved to be as difficult as usual in the Championship, but at least the weather was kind!

The Poynor trophy was retained by last year's winner, which is quite an achievement!
