First intercounty match of the 2017 season took place at the Leicestershire Golf Club
and we were blessed with a beautiful day and fantastic hospitality. The course was in
great condition and thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part. Thanks to Maggie Parker who
kindly stood in for our President and greeted everyone on the first tee along with the
Team Captain Mary Langley who was unable to play. The meal was excellent and thoroughly
enjoyed by all. Thank you to all the staff.
There were new members who played in this fixture and we hope that they enjoyed the
camaraderie in which these games are played. Thank you all who played.
