After a dreadful wet winter season with courses closed, we enjoyed our first match at Lingdale Golf Club.
Wow! What a day. 32 Ladies from 15 golf clubs across Leicestershire and Rutland played. Still a little wet underfoot, but on a beautiful spring day the
ladies played an extremely friendly, close match in shirt sleeves.
The only complaint being no ‘sun screen’
We enjoyed a wonderful meal and the result Captain 4 wins Vice 4 wins
A draw that reflected the match.
