We were lucky and had a really sunny day for this fixture although the wind was a little chilly when you were on the higher tees.
The fixture was played as an AMAM with teams of 2 gentlemen and 2 ladies with 1 gent and 1 lady to count on each hole. Prizes were awarded for the winners and runners up and also the best gentlemen and lady pairing.
Congratulations go to
Mary Langley and Kully Wain for being in the winning team with 81 points
Wendy Greenlees and Suzanne Knott in the 2nd place team with 80 points
Lynne Jones and Julia Dunkley, the best ladies pair not in the main prizes, with 39 points
The food was lovely and everyone had an enjoyable time playing with the gents who were lovely company.
Particular thanks go to the Gents County Captain Alan Turton and to Keith Elliott who organised the event which included a meal and prizes.
