Although most of us arrived at the correct venue on time, some members of both teams unfortunately went to the Trentham course, not Trentham Park, so I must apologise to those for not making it clear.

We were greeted by the Ladies Captain from Trentham Park, and enjoying bacon baps and coffee. The weather was pleasant to play in and the course was challenging (previous knowledge of the course was definitely an advantage).

The day ended with a lovely meal, Steak pies or Chicken and Leek, both excellent. Hospitality from the Trentham Park staff and the Staffordshire team was excellent, but the result  for L&RVLGA was not so good as you will see from the final score. This did not detract from having a super day, thank you to all the ladies who played.
