It was very disappointing that we had to cancel the 2nd team match against Staffordshire at Hinckley at very short notice, because the water on the course would have meant us all carrying for 18 holes. Unsurprizingly we were unanimous in agreeing that we would rather not do that! I have contacted the opposing captain to see if there is any possibility of us rearranging the match, in which case it would probably be in October, and the ladies who were due to play in May would get first refusal. Watch this space!
