To all our members:
The President and the committee hope that all of our members are continuing to stay well in this prolonged period of restrictions. The good weather has certainly helped to keep up our spirits and has made our return to golf very enjoyable. Although we are playing again, the restrictions still make it very difficult for us to do anything but social golf. As we cannot guarantee how much the restrictions will be lifted or what The Leicestershire will be able to offer in the way of facilities, we have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel the Crystal Bowls competition on 6th July. We are still hoping that the 1st team v 2nd and the 4Ball Better Ball competitions will take place.
Any member who has booked into this competition will be notified by email regarding refunds.
Committee members continue to work hard on rearranging this year’s match fixtures for corresponding dates and venues next year.
Please continue to take care and stay safe.
On behalf of the committee, Kate Elliott, President.
