1st Team AM/AM with County Senior Gents, 26th August 2026

12 Ladies joined the County Senior Gents for a very enjoyable AM/AM at Charnwood Forest Golf Club on Wednesday 26th August. The format of one Gent and one Lady

to score on each hole proved extremely popular with all concerned.

Despite the threat of heavy thundery downpours we managed to complete the fixture with only a short shower, much to the relief of everyone.

Following weeks of very dry, hot weather the Charnwood course was extremely lively but the introduction of some strategically placed, temporary GUR, in front of dry stone walls certainly helped. Some excellent scores were recorded with the top two teams finishing on 83 points.

Runners -Up: Trina Tidmas, Pam Hall, Andy Bradshaw and Vince Johnson.

Thank you to President Sandra for providing bottles of wine for prizes and for seeing everyone off on the 1st tee. This was very much appreciated.
