L&RVLGA  v LINCOLNSHIRE 16th July 2026 at Kirby Muxloe GC

Another wonderful golfing day, with again wall to wall sunshine (they do say that the sun shines on the righteous) for our 2nd team match at Kirby Muxloe.
The matches on the whole were played in the spirit we’ve come to appreciate and although it was an extremely close match, and our team fought all the way, it ended with a win for Lincolnshire of 4 ½ to 3 ½.
Kirby Muxloe as ever made us so welcome and the staff were exemplary. I can’t say enough about the condition of the course, bearing in mind the dry spell we’re experiencing, it was truly excellent, how lucky they are to have so much water at their disposal .
