32 ladies turned out for this annual fixture, and a huge thank you to them all. It appears from the feedback I received everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.

There was much chatter over coffee before the match with most ladies meeting up members from other Clubs for the first time. This camaraderie continued during the meal after the matches, and the ladies out in the last group fully appreciated the fact we held off with the speeches until they had eaten, which then allowed everyone to head off home together.

The weather was kind to us with the rain holding off until later, and it was especially nice to play on a dry golf course, our greens have had some work on them recently, so weren’t at their best but the greens staff had done their best.

The result which is secondary to the enjoyment of the day and making new friends was a win for the Captain.
