The sun continued to shine for our first inter-county match against Staffordshire at Rothley Park on 21st May.

The 16 ladies who took part came from 11 clubs over the counties. 

It was a tough day; the Staffordshire team comprised many players who would qualify for our 1st team and so presented stiff opposition. Despite this, we managed two wins, a half and some very close losses.

In the end the might of Staffordshire prevailed, and the final result was a win to them 5½ to 2½.
