2nd Team v Lincolnshire at Stoke Rochford Golf Club.

Well ladies, aren’t we doing so well with the weather, yet another warm sunny day and a beautiful golf course, albeit a little challenging.  Lincolnshire’s  Captain of the day Judith welcomed all to Stoke Rochford Golf Club and courtesy coffee was served to us by such lovely staff.  Many of the Lincolnshire ladies had travelled a considerable distance to play in the match, some as far north of Cleethorpes.

Completion of the cards was much easier this time and as fourth off, it was much more relaxing for me.

We had many ladies cancel before the day but so many ladies stepped in to play and act as reserves….thank you ladies.  I do hope the ladies that had to cancel because of illness or injury make a speedy recovery.

On a good note the Leicestershire & Rutland Veteran ladies came in with a great win of 5 - 3.  Some games though being very close and could have gone either way.

My final thanks go to the catering staff who served us copious amounts of Lasagne, chips and salad...yummie.
